I have a 05 750, and I am 6' 3", i Got the 6" extensions, and i absolutly love them, what a difference they make over stock. I highly recommend getting some.

I must warn you about the lack a communication skills of seller, it took over a month to get product, and after sending them you wrong address. But other than that didn't really have to many problems.

Also did any other people that got these have to take off your exhaust to get the brake rod, off/on.

They look like Jayroc extensions without the center seperator bar in front of the rad.
I'm sure they make your ride a lot more comfortable for you!
Too bad about the communication problem. That usually makes or breaks someone.

Yeah, they are Jayroc's. I've got them also and when I ordered, he emailed me to ask if I wanted the center bar or not. I love mine too, but Bucky's right - it was like pulling teeth to finally get them to my door.

I did a http://www.shadowriders.net/forums/tren_z/misc/tren_z_header_search.gif (http://www.shadowriders.net/forums/search.php) and came up with http://www.shadowriders.net/forums/vbpgimage.php?do=full&p=737. Is there a benefit from having the bar?

I don't think so, i think orignially they were for strength but there doesn't seem a need for them with out the bar they were very study and didn't move at all. Just watch which side you put the plates on because they are not universal. The one with the hole goes on left side.

...hmmm...so your 6'3"....post a pic of you on the bike?...i'd like to see how stretched out ya are...i'm 6'1"....just kinda curious...looks like the 6" extensions would nearly hit the front tire when you turn it:stunned:

....just one thing though...

I ran across a guy in Daytona @ Bike Week that had a set on his bike. Needless to say today when I went on eBay to purchase a set, there are none listed. That's my luck.

Try this guy... http://stores.ebay.com/Scootmods_W0QQssPageNameZstrkQ3amefsQ3amesstQQtZkm

He's jacked up his prices in the last month, $20-$30 more now.

:cool4: the controls are nice, but the shift rod is just to Home Depot for me,if you are going to spend that kind of money, i would make sure the shift rod LOOKS COOL. and fits with the bike's look:grin3:

I'm about 6'2" and i moved the pegs about 8" forward and you don't have to be concerned about the tire hitting them. I then changed the rake 7 deg and it moved the tire 5" forward so i have no problems forsure now.

Those peg extention brackets look good.

Agreed!! That's way I made my own instead. I looked at what he had done and figured, "if he cut and polish a couple pieces of 3/8 Au, so can I" I made mine extend 5 1/2" Don't know how it rides yet, still painting the tank and fenders.

I'm 6'3" and I bought the 4" jayroc extensions because I thought going any further out just looked a little funny to me. I also have a mustang seat and that seems to have given me another inch or two. I will tell you that the 4" was not enough on its own, but the mustang seat, along with giving me more legroom, changes the entire dynamic of the bike for the better. The combo is perfect for me. I have ridden 300 miles at a pop with no complaints about comfort.
