what years are the parts interchangable. i want to put floorboards and shit on there. and dont know shit about these bike. i used to run nothing but gsxr 1000's and now that i have had shoulder surgury thanks to the war i cant ride my crotch rockets anymore and figured why not try this. and is there anyway to put more ass into these bikes

I have that 88 and and have had pretty good performance boost by opening up the exaust with aftermarket pipes and a jet kit.

I'm sure a new intake will bring out a few horses too. You'll never have the zip of the ole crotch rocket. I think twice as quick as cars is fine...I don't need to be four times quicker.

speed is not really what i am looking for. i know that it will never be anywhere near as fast as the fastest 4 letters on the road.i have cobra pipes on it but i have to check the jets i know they are wrong because the pipes are all blued. i dont think the guy jetted it.

pipes are going to blue.....it really isn't just lean that does it, now if you'd have gotten a heat shield over your head pipes no one would ever see blue.......like most decent highend pipes include....but straight pipes will blue and yellow, it's just what they do........

I have cobra pipes on my 750 and they are blue and yellow. If you do not want that you could put on a heat sheild or buy pipes that are double walled.

noob bitch i am only new to this site. i have been riding motorcycles for 16 years. and everything else about 25. i am just not familiar with the crusier side. i know that pipes change color. and i do beleve that i am running lean also.

you'll know if it's running lean for sure if when you decel you have that pop,pop,pop....just go up there in the right hand corner where it says search and in the drop down type in a key word like "lean" and all kinds of useful shit will pop up.......even what to do about it.....
