Yup. Being 9 days from departure to Derka central, and shit weather here in OKC, I bit the bullet and put the bike up for the next year.

Don't worry about it man. Where you're going isn't bad at all. You'll see. Try to go downtown while you're there. Makes you feel more like a regular person. Maybe one of the locals will let you ride their bike.

Just checked and you need to pack plenty of warm clothes. When you get there (probably at night) it'll be a glacial 60*F with the high only getting up to the mid 70's.

They have me set to go back in October, but I already missed Thanksgiving and my boy's b-day this year. I'm not gonna miss them, my daughter's b-day, x-mas, and new year's this year.
