We got rid of comcast YEARS ago when they cut our service on a Sunday afternoon because they hadn't received our payment. My wife called the next day and they admitted that it was their mistake.
This was back in the days when I watched football and my game got cut off midway thru. I told my wife to tell them to go ahead and cancel our service and that we were switching to dish. Never regretted it. I will go without TV before I go back to Comcast, just on principle.

Hell, the only thing I watch on TV is baseball and SVU on occasion. Listening to music is much, much better.

Screw ISP newsgroup access. I gave that up LONG ago. Capped speeds, low retention.... bleh.

For $15/mo i use http://www.newshosting.com 80 day retention (files kept on servers), unlimited speed and downloads. This is by far the BEST newsgroup hosting ive found.
