i know a few of you have installed them on your bikes but,can sombody tell me
how they mount to the air box/air intake boot??? it looks simple enough that
i might be able to make one for myself instead of spending 160 bills.
PICTURES OF WERE IT MOUNTS ON AND OFF OF BIKE WOULD HELP THE BEST.....

It uses the boot that attaches to the stock air box and just bolts on.I used a longer bottom screw and fender washer to attach it to the stock air box mount on the bottom to keep it from falling off.You can see pictures of how it attaches to the bike here http://cruiserperformance.com/intake_tech.html
If you make one you would have to use aluimnum or stainless or get it chromed or coat the inside because if it rusted inside you could cause engine damage.I was going to make one myself but the cost of getting it chromed and materials and time it was not worth it.If I was going to buy another one I would get the thunder or wild card one .The chrome around the welds was not very good and the plate was not even sanded on the edges on the boot leg.
