Feel sorry he had a stroke... (since I'm 60 myself) and needs to sell his bike, but 24k for 883 just ain't going to happen. Especially one that doesn't look like a 24k ride. But it does help explain why owning a Harley can be downright expensive. If you put 24k in your Honda... would it look like that?

Some people think their bikes (for that matter anything they have a vested interest in) are worth what they emotionally and dollarwise have tied up in it. The assumption being that if it's worth this to me, it must be the same for you.

I'm pretty sure he won't get anything close to a return off his investment and this time of year, no other 8100 dollar bids.
