Well, folks, just got my new VTX1300R home and it is now time to start parting out my curent VT1100c or sell it........
It is a black 87 with a 95 engine.....NICE NICE NICE shape, especially for an 87...it needs tranny work (no third, noisy 1st/2nd, 4th is fine) but still runs strong......looking for a good offer on the bike in stock form......two very near new Metzler ME880s.....front forks rebuilt last winter.....newer stator......new battery a month ago...new throttle cables, new front wheel bearings this spring, new speedo cable..........solid bike besides the tranny issue...greatdeal for a mechanic or DIY who has thetools and knowledge to rebuild the engine.....I would rather see the bike go whole to a good home than be parted out....
Now, I also have a variety of chrome doodads and such that will be coming off... I am going to try to list the parts I can think of...if anyone is interested, let me know....
Cobra "Fatty" custom fiberglass fenders in black...rear has tombstone tailight like new...paint is great except rear has some stress cracks in the paint in one smal area that is not seen easily when installed.....and a small chip on an edge at the bottom, cant see unless you are on your back looking...
