Ever See an Orange Moon

Shot this tonight from the backyard. Bright orange (bad photo). This is due to the fires around Mt. Hood. Looks better live I'm afraid, but I thought I'd share.

Actually I've seen them a few times. Kinda eerie, isn't it? I'm sure this one is do to the fires you mentioned. It's also called a harvest moon sometimes. But that's in the Fall

Nice pic! It was crazy orange the other day. My girlfriend and I were talking about it on our way home that night. Don't know about fires though, there aren't any around here that I'm aware of.

first one I ever saw was in High school. Homecoming football game.
we were the Gallup Bengals and thought the orange Bengal moon was a good sign
and Can you guess. Yep We Lost The Game. . :laugh4::laugh4:

The cause is the same, just different "polutants" - ours being fires at the moment.
