after reading bout croach,s rain journey i thought i would post a biker prayer
its not n=mine i found it some where else.
.
JESUS SEND ME AN ANGEL.
.
BIKER ANGEL BE MY GUIDE,
AS I CLIMB UPON MY BIKE TO RIDE.
.
LET YOUR HALO GUIDE THE WAY AND,
KEEP ME SAFE FROM HARM TODAY.
.
LET YOUR WINGS PROVIDE ME WITH WIND AND AIR,
AND SEND THEM BLOWING THROUGH MY HAIR.
.
FIND ME A SUNNY PLACE,
LET IT SHIN UPON MY FACE.
.
KEEP THE CLOUDS AND RAIN AWAY,
AND KEEP THEM AWAY THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
.
KEEP MY WHEELS UPON THE GROUND,
SO I'LL RETURN HERE SAFE AND SOUND.
.
BUT SHOULD DISASTER BE MY FATE,
GUIDE ME THROUGH TO HEAVENS GATE.

How about adding a line about praying for some hot chicks and big boobs while out on the journey for the day. For example:

While out riding I have passed all of life's tests
and should be rewarded by seeing many wonderful breasts.

G dub believes in prayer in schools and he has murdered 1000's . Osoma believes in it to . Maby schools are bad because parents leave their kids to be raised by TV . Maby cutting art , after school sports , or music has somthing to do with it . Economic disparity plays a role too . I work at an private college [ costs about 40k a year to attend ] and have almost zero incidents of violence on my campus . ONE RAPE IN 8 YEARS ! That is extremely low . We also have no frat houses or sports teams . That helps also . Kids with money and 2 parents who give a shit rarely get into that kind of trouble . It's ok to pray but it is not a cure all . The kids who shot up Columbine prayed every day .

if u got 2-parents that give a shit and disipline their children and the parents
incorperate not nessasrily "PRAYER'' but "RELIGION" into their life while the children or young and threw out their growing up.once they get of age to make
their own decisions its up to them to make a path for their own life.but as a parent you could say at least i tried to show them the way.my mother told me once" religion is not somthing to argue about cuz u could argue for eternity.
as long as you believe in what you believe in and follow god that is enough
to get u though life and into heaven"

Now I aint a very religious person, but I think Razor has the edge (no pun intended).

What sets a kid down the right path are the morals and guidelines established by their parents, school, Religion, and the environment they live in. How does Religion effect a kid? It tells them that their actions are answerable to a higher authority. Now whether that authority is God, Alah, "Let the Force be with you" or fucking Jupiter does not matter.

Prayers reminds us that we are bonded to this higher authority. The 10 Commandments, which everyone makes such a fuss over, are a set of guidelines by which we live by. (Well I aint too sure about that.... "coveting thy neighbors wife"... (I think some pissed off husband slipped that one in when Moses had his back turned! ) As we continue to remove prayer and religion out of the mainstream, as parents become less and less responsible, our kids grow up for the moment and forget that there ARE consequences to their actions.

Ok, OK, ease down here. I hate getting into these religious talks but I agree with Sin, partially. Here's the basic model for raising respectful, good kids. Fucking talk to them!! Not just when they are in trouble, all the time. Self esteem and morals go a long way, and kids get that from their parents. If you sit down for dinner every night, and talk while you eat, you will make great strides in the future. It's called social learning theory with cognitive behavioral interaction. Talk to them about the bad shit in this world! Talk to them about drugs. Talk to them about peer pressure and sex. Talk to them about people that will try to hurt them. It's not meant to scare them, but living a sheltered life will not prepare them for this fucked up world we live in!! Terrorists! What a bunch of fucking cowards!! Taking on defensless people, unaware they are about to be attacked. It's the worst kind of bullying around!! Shit!! Sorry for the rant, I need to go have a break now. This topic really gets me going. Bottom line, you know what I hear out of all of the criminals I interview in jails, "I have found God." Bullshit! Religion alone does nothing, and if it is so great, why are there so many "Holy Wars" in this world. One religion or God belief fighting another because they think their belief is wrong. There is enogh death daily from starvation, disease, cancer, car accidents, and natural disasters! If you have faith, great, but it won't prevent people from doing bad things if they weren't brought up right. I'm done, sorry for the long rant!:furious2:

Love your kids and spoil them everyday, because you never know what may happen, and then you'll be wondering why, what if, and I wish I would have........

I've seen the pain first hand of families and lives destroyed from useless violence committed by sick, twisted, mentally deranged people. Some people just aren't wired right, and you know what, they reproduce and make more fucked up people. Those people go to school with your kids. Teach your kids to be aware, and to think! I'm done!

For the record I went to church 3 times a week and bible study was held at my house 2 nights a week . My father was a Baptist minister and a police officer , he also worked construction . My mother was a stay at home mom . I did not watch tv or listen to anything that was not christjan .Until I was 10 . I attened church until I was 17 1/2 . I tried again at 19 but it would not take . I got into all sorts of trouble despite my intense christjan upbringing . You could say I strayed from the fold indefinatly . I am just as moral as you and it has nothing to do with christ . Name somthing immoral that I do . A true separation betwwen church and state was ment to preserve christjan idealogy at home where it is most important . Taught by parent to child . At a private secular school fine . It does not belong in a public school . I went to a private school for a long time because my parents thought it important . The state does not owe you . Your child is sent to learn not practice their respective spiritual dogma , whatever it is . Argueing politics and religion is not bad manners , if it is between 2 people with open minds and respect for one another . If have to be right you should keep your mouth shut . And that includes your .02 cents . Don't worry about being politicly correct with me. I think that it shows disrespect to do so . I can tell you how I feel without calling names and IF you have a study that proves your point from a credible source I would be willing look into it and think about it again .

i am not triing to be right, just stating my opinion, and the way that i was brought up,it all boils down to your own choices, that is why god gave us the freedom
of choice,he has laid the law for us and its our choice to follow them or not
and we know the consequinses of not following his law.AND i do not have to
show you study that proves my point, acually its not even a point that i am trying
make.like i said its merly my opinion.i respect your opinons and of coarse you are
intitled to them, like we all are.now if i could have your opinion on somthing,
you being brought up christian and knowing whats right from wrong looking back
aT everything you have done do you have/or did you have at the time, the knowlege to know what you were doing was wrong?and i will not argue your answer
because i respect you and your honest answer.

Some people just aren't wired right, and you know what, they reproduce and make more fucked up people. Those people go to school with your kids. Teach your kids to be aware, and to think! I'm done!Everything in moderation.
I love my kids a lot, they are really good people. Daughter 17, Son 15. I was the kid that said, "I will never talk to my kids like that when I grow up... I will be the coolest Dad ever, I will play with my kids..." etc. Well I did just that. I am known as 'Pimp Daddy' amongst my kid's friends. My kids do things with me like I was another kid going to school with them. At the same time they respect my authority and usually don't get out of line.
Now this has turned them into spoiled little shits at the same time. When the answer is no, all hell breaks loose because they expect everything now. They have EVERYTHING they want and don't know the concept of EARNING what they get. They think if they destroy something, that 'hey Dad will just buy another one'...
So, while talking with your kids, hanging out with them, playing games with them, being a great parent by giving them the things they really want, DON'T forget to teach them to appreciate where things came from, appreciate the things they have, appreciate that they are better off than most kids their age because the majority are not as blessed to have such things. Otherwise it becomes the norm and anything less is a punishment to them.

Shadow you are a good dad . I know you are . A good man and friend . I tend to spoil my boys too . And Razor I have done horrible things and did not care at the time that they where bad . I was in a bad state of mind . Did I know ? Hell yea ! Do it anyway ? Hell yea ! Feel bad later ? I did sometimes . But , I do not now . Some of the things I did as a teen , look and sound really bad . I did what I did as an incomplete person . I was angery and unhappy . I felt that if I did not have a right to be happy no one did . I lashed out like a hurt animal . People would not recognize me now standing next to my 16 year old self . And all the religion in the world could not have helped or changed me . Alot of the guys I ran with are dead or serving time . I am blessed with having a change of heart .

Shadow, Sin. good for you both. We all choose a pth, and make the best of it. We all make mistakes. As long as we learn from them and do not repeat them, it is a good learning experience. As for spoiling kids, it's good, but they must learn the value of hard work and earning things, not to just get things for nothing. I hear you there!

Thanks! I love to get into a good squabble. Of course, I usually discover I am fucking wrong most of the time.

BUT it is important never to stop questioning. It is how we learn.

For Sinister - you are in good company - :

A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary.
Man would indeeded be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death." --Einstein, Albert

NO . I am trying to pay off mine still . I got to slow down on the mods . I am also looking to build a r1 or Hayabusa chopper with some friends . We are shopping for a bike with a salvage title [ we only want the motor , title and electronics ] . The goal is to build a 250-300hp rigid chopper ! We are also looking at possible cd750 rolling chassies to put it in . It will not be pretty . It will be mean and ugly .

With the big bore kit and the turbo on the busa it gets up there . They are inline 4's that have been covered in plastic . They can be polished up but we want to go the flat black route . It is more about performance ...... well sort of . It is more about scaring the shit out of our selfs . Not to mention anybody who thinks it is ugly will drop their jaw when they hear 300hp .I have a friend who is opening a machine shop . We thinking build a radical shop bike .
