It definintely includes that too!

Otherwise it is precision riding. Usually you have 6 to 8 riders perform a routine (drill). Lots of tight peg grinding turns, weaving in and out of each other etc. They judge by diffulty of maneuvers and how well your team is synchronized.
I belong to a Shrine Shadow 750 team. If some one is a second or two off - WHACK! This year we started with a team of 6 and early on in practice we were down to 4. Team had a bad WHACK. Kind a put an end to this years competition, but we can at least pariticipate in obstacle course competition (or some people call em rodeo's.).
Ya got be a little brain dead to get involved in this shit, but you do learn what your bike is capable of doing- and a 750 can do a lot.

Yes, takes a lot of practice not only with the team but even on your own. Also eats ups tires twice as fast. I have to replace both front and back every 5000 miles - mostly because of sharp turns and circles etc.
There are guys on the team that would think nothing of riding down the highway at 110 mph without a helmet, but when we practice drill, they all wear their helmets.
And you do need to be BRANE dead as well..... hmmmm....something is wrong......Ah I spelled need wrong..... knead.... there that is better now...
