Been working on the shadow a little. Need to be working on the chop project but I wanted to change a few things. New Avon Venom 170, got rid of huge turn signals and tail light assembly and put on some small 1 1/4" bullets on the fender struts and side mount radiused plate bracket with cat eye taillight.

I am sending th shocks off this week to be shortened and powder coated purple to match the bike. Adapting the radius plate was actually quite simple. I can get the spacers need to make it work made in stainless for like $55.00 if anyone is interested. Thinking I might put a couple sets on my ebay store to see if they sell? Should work for several other bikes as well.

Got the shocks back from SOTMC.com. Pete done a great job on them and the Transculescent Grape matched great. I ran into a couple problems going with the 2.25" lowering and the 170 Avon on the rear though. I had to remove more of the fender support bracket to stay away from tire so I welded it up in a few places. However, I put the 2-up seat on it the other night and me and the wife rode all over with no problems. Still had clearance it seems pretty strong. Next time I have it apart I will probably weld in some other supports.
It looks great after lowering the front a couple inches. I just cut down the original spacers by 1.5". It took a little work to get the spacers made for the rear tail light bracket to work.
A little recap on Mods;
Holesaw Mod
Lowered Front
Lowered Rear
Powder Coated shock springs
Side Mount Radius Plate and Tailight
Bullet Turn signals adapted to fender struts
Left to do:
Chrome radiator cover & grill
Narrower, smaller front fender
bullet turn signals on front
forward control extensions
If anyone has any suggestions on these mods or know of a very cheap alternative please let me know. I have been spending way too much money. (That is what the wife tells me)...LOL
What'cha think guys?

call scootworks and get a lowering kit for the rear.get that bike really low.also, i think you may be alittle mare satisfied with the hondaline radiator grille cowl.you can paint it the color to match the bike.looks great!and, when lowering the ass end, you should lower the front as well.just so it sit level or a little higher in the front.you should check my bike out in the garage,as i have done these mods already. let me know what you think.ive done just about everything to mine, and also have some x-tra MOD parts for sale.email me at frampton53225@yahoo.com if youre interested. ride safe, 1badd750.

CARR99,
bike is looking sweet man! The purple shock springs really tie the assend together. I like the overall look of it. Maybe lower the rear a little more if you dont ride 2 up very much. post some pics when ya get a new front fender, sounds interesting. Also, forget about saving your money, it ain't gonna happen. Hard part is tellin the wife:) late man

Thanks Cali, getting alot of nice comments on it. I probably will not lower back end anymore. I am pretty close to the 170 now just with my fat ass on it...lol
If anyone runs across a diablo fender used for a decent price I would be interested. Better yet, is there anyone else selling a smaller fender for this bike?
I also am looking for a chrome radiator cover, and windshield (just for back and forth to work),
I also bought this bike with forwards already on it. What kind of extensions are available for it? I thought I seen some once but they were sky high...lol
Take care and again thanks for comps..
