Hey guys - havent been on the site for quite some time. I have been trying to get these jacks built and they are finally here! Just thought I would post some info and pics of them.

http://www.machomanjack.com/images/jackPublication1.JPG

I had a hard time lifting my bike to do the rear wheel swap, change the oil or anything. And didnt want to spent over $120 to purchase one. So I designed one and had a company make them for me. I had them made chrome for easy cleaning and the look bad-ass!

I got one and it is nice. Takes just a few seconds to lift the bike. Very nice for lubing chain, oil changes etc. Good sturdy construction and compact.

Actually went pretty good taking everything into accoount. Last year our team took first place in drill competition. This year we couldnt qualify for drill because half our team collided with each other in practices -- mostly due to new riders. We started out whit about 8 riders, and ended up with three.

Two of us however did go and competed in Obstacle. It was a little tense, as you need a minimum of 2 team members to qualify, or the team is DQ. It meant both of us HAD to qualify. :sweatdrop

I went first, and realized, in one of the keyholes, I was turning too wide. I dumped the bike in order to keep it in the circle, jumped back up, got the bike up and finished to coure to qualify. The other team member is really good at Obstacle, and he went through it with a great time. Only the best time per team is used and his time earned us a 2nd Place Trophy. :crown:

Fortunately I was able to come to complete stop before dropping the bike so there was no damage except a scraped knee and bruised ego. :shame:

-----------

One interesting sell point (your jack) for riders that do drill competition is inspection. Before each team performs they must have a field insptection. Both bikes and riders are inspected for uniformity etc. The bikes are all lined up in perfect order. Your jack can be very usefull, in that all the valve stems for each bike (both front and back tires) can be perfrectly aligned with the other bikes. Sounds anal (and it is) but it is little stuff like that that the judges like, especially since most are motorcycle cops and they do get picky.

I have new jacks on the way with no wheels. I get alot of emails from guys who want a jack, but get scared of shipping. You WILL NOT get a jack like this for less than $120. If shipping is scaring you - it shouldnt. You will be very happy with the jack.

In a few months the new jacks will be here. No wheels will save some money - hopefully starting around $99.95 retail - $75.95 sale. Sorry - thier will be no promotional sales on new products.

I will post pics when I get them in stock.

Thanks,
