Here's something that's been tickling the back of my brain.
The 1994 VT1100c has a 4-speed tranny (coming from a former ride of a 6-gear 83 VT750) 4 speeds has me constantly looking for a 5th gear.
I have heard that the tranny case of the 94 is the same as the later 5-gear models (97 and up I believe). My questions are then the following
1 - Are the tranny cases the same?
2 - Can a later year 5-gear tranny be retrofitted to a 94?
3 - Has anyone done this?
