Lemme know if you're going Thurs. I'm in school the next two weeks at work and should be able to make it there this week, Susan didn't get to make it this past week and I know she wants to go back this week.

I think Race is a little pissed that so many people have bailed on his party. I voted for the weekend after since I'm off. Wish I could make it, but I want to save my vacation time. Like you said, work first.

They're doing the foundation for the garage now. Should be done on Thurs. and the materail will be here in a couple weeks. Thank god. I'm tired of tripping over shit here. And half my stuff, including Susan's bike is in storage.

I see you put that on with the Billski Mod on the back. How low did it drop the bike? Where does that thing bolt on??

Actually that's a small Drag Specialities LED on a homemade bracket that allows the light to tuck up under the fender better. How low? I was running some makeshift 9 1/2" struts and it initially appears to be about the same, looking at the fender/tire clearances, etc. I just like the cleaner look and future flexibility for fender, wheel mods, etc. . The added section attaches to upper frame brace inder the seat area and to the lower cross brace right behind the rear engine mount. It uses a saddle clamp set to secure everything. Seems well thought out, but I'll eventually have mine welded just for shits and giggles.

Looks great ! I was going to order one but the wife got sick [ almost died ] and money got a little tight . The frame is not that much more $ , just a little more work . I might go that route this winter .

I love that loweed look but I don't want to rewire a new side mount taillight. I'm keeping the Billski on, but figure I can go 9.75" and be clear. I'm going to mess with my tires first, then go after the lowering. Maybe this fall/Winter. You ride looks great!

I'm gonna call the other guy I ride with and see if he wants to take a ride up there. It's a little over an hour ride. If he's up for it I'm there.

Glad to hear your project is going well for ya. You said it was a prefab (modular) right? I expect a full report. :)

Her bike is in storage? We've had a couple of really nice weekends these past few weeks. She should be riding. Store her in the living room.

The garage is in kit form. It's all stick built. www.apmbuildings.com

Pa has adopted the IBC and they took their time on the damn permits......had to have APM redesign the trusses for a 50# snow load rating. What a pain in the ass.

I know that I should have her out riding as much as possible. But there are many things going on at the house (new glass block kneewall, cultured stone wall, ceramic tile, hardwood floors, wood stove) all in one room. Then the garage starts.......And I just started working my second job again a couple weeks ago.

BTW Olpanrider....sorry about the hijack.

Wow! I'm surprised the company is from PA and didn't upgrade the specs. Which kit did ya get? I'd like to compare the materials on one of those. I'm surprised ya didn't stick it your self. Christ ya did a CBR mod! you should just about be able to do anything. =)

BTW OlpanRider my Deepest.

It depends on what ya want and how long ya want to be down. The beauty of the "bolt on"(if there is such an animal) is ya don't have to recreate the wheel. When ya start over with a different frame, it gets out of hand in a hurry. I previously swapped an old '60 model panhead on a swingingarm frame to a '53 wishbone frame. Next thing ya know it was a different fender, tank, jockey shift, extended front end, 21 on front, etc. Not to mention a total rewire and paint job. Hell, I like to have worked myself to death and maxed out all the funds changing everything. My life's changed to much now. Like the Clint Eastwood character says " a man's gotta know his limitations". There, I'll shut up now. See ya..................

Pan you ought to know by now I have no limitations . Except spelling . I am a kind of big guy . Not that tall 5'10 " / 11". Long arms and legs , short torso .My brother who is 6'3" wears the same size clothes as me . I would like a little stretch . The hard tail looks tits . No question . My 750 feels a tad short . I don't want down time but I will prolly do the full frame swap .
