How do I remove decals?

Some of the custom bikes I have seen through this web site have had their factory gas tank decals removed. Is this something I can do at home or do i have to bring it to a shop?

You can do it, but it's under the clear coat so it will leave a little mark that you might want to buff out. I think most guys use a hair dryer and heat it up and peel it off.
